Isla Plana is a small village with a few local shops and bars, but within easy travelling distance to a host of other places. It is also on the coast with lovely beaches a short walk.

New dual carriageways have recently opened which has made travelling a lot more efficient in this region. Mazarron town is about 15 mins drive away. Puerto de Mazarron and the beaches are 10 mins easy drive. Both towns have all the necessary amenities for living in the area eg. shops, medical facilities, restaurants and Bars. Puerto de Mazarron in particular is very popular with the Spanish themselves for their holidays. Camposol where our office is based is about 25 mins away. Here you can find various bars and restaurants and an 18 hole golf course.

We have a lovely coast line with Blue Flag standard beaches, lovely coves and a wonderful landscape. We are surrounded by numerous ranges of hills and mountains.

We also have a national park in the Sierra Espunas which has pine forests and wonderful mountain views. This is above the towns of Totana and Alhalma de Murcia.

We are extremely lucky in that we are not an overdeveloped area so we have the feeling of space.

The two nearest cities to here are Murcia and Cartagena which are approximately both only 40 mins drive away. The nearest airports are Alicante which is 1.5 hours drive and Murcia (San Javaier) 40 mins drive. A new international airport is being built in Corvera and will be completed in 2011, it will take about 15 mins drive to our area.
